This series of messages awakens us to a deeper intimacy with God.  The Christian life is referred to at times as a walk of faith.  This is never meant to be a solo journey - we walk with God.  There are not only things that God wants from us along the way, but also many things that God wants for us.  This recent series is called "Come Walk With Me" and will serve to lead us back to the foundations of what it means to have a close relationship with Jesus Christ.  Spiritual substitutes leave the soul feeling empty...hollow.  These are indicators that the personal intimacy with God has been lost along the way.  Sin, disobedience, busy-ness, or neglect can all lead us off the good path.  God, in His amazing grace, whispers to us, "Come walk with Me."  And we know just how badly we need to.
