The Son of God came with a purpose. Teacher, healer, Savior, servant...He knew what His mission was. An essential for all Christians is to understand the humble service rendered by God the Son as He revealed to a dying world the love of His Father. His words were powerful, eternal, transforming, and true. His acts were faithful, righteous, purposeful, and miraculous. He understood people, He understands you. Every type of person known to mankind was addressed by Jesus Christ - many of them in face to face encounters. He treated them all with truth and grace. He knew that is what we need.

The ultimate act of sacrificial service is seen in His willing death on the cross. Before the cross we see Him blessing the people, teaching the people, feeding the people, loving the people, healing the people, and welcoming the people. Then the people nailed Him to a tree. What greater example could there be in living a life of glory unto God? Come and see the Savior move among those who need Him. They cannot come to Him on their own...so watch Him stoop.
